Welcome to Prairie Center Christian Childcare!

We are a Christian Pre-school and Pre-K for with ages 6 weeks to Kindergarten.  We specialize in age appropriate activities beginning the infants. Activities include bible stories, circle time, music, large motor, cognitive skills and many more, not to mention, Chapel on Wednesdays (for Ages 2 1/2 and up) as well as prayer before each meal.

Picture Above: Lunch time! Monday-Thursday we make breakfast, lunch, and a snack for the kids and the teachers serve it to their classroom!

We are members of the Christian Early Childhood Association, SRS and CACFP which is the Kansas state food program. Nutritional meals are served daily (breakfast, lunch and P.M. snack).  Menus are posted and changed every 4 months.

Our qualified teachers range in early childhood experience from 1year to over 30 years. Most of our lead teachers have been with us over 2 years. Some have been with us 4+ years.

Hours of operation: 7:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.  (Infant hours are 7:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.) We are open year round with the exception of one week during the Christmas to New Year break; and one day each for Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day and Thanksgiving.

In the Summer, each classroom gets a day to go outside and play in the water!

We celebrate the major Holidays with parties in which parents are welcome to participate. Join us for our annual Christmas program and Graduation to Kindergarten!
